The westernmost municipality of Piedmont and Italy is home to one of the most important ski resorts in the region. Very close to Turin and easily reachable thanks to the A32 motorway, Bardonecchia is located in the center of the basin where the four valleys that feed the Dora di Bardonecchia converge and has over 100 km of slopes.

Bardonecchia, is one of the most famous Piedmont ski resorts in the province of Turin, and is located in Val di Susa. It offers more than 100 km of slopes with 23 lifts, is divided by the following districts, similar with different characteristics: the Colomion area (which also includes the Les Arnauds facilities), and the Melezet area. From the town center thanks to a free shuttle you reach the Jafferau area (maximum height of 2,800 meters) in 5 minutes. Here you can ski outboard with a panoramic view of the mountains and many possibilities in the spring of off-piste trails. Bardonecchia is famous for hosting the snowboard discipline during the 2006 Turin Olympics: the Melezet snow park is the most famous testimony. The town is easily reachable by train or by car, with a train station just a few steps from the slopes.
